Our purpose-driven approach reflects the important role our solutions play in medical, analytical, industrial, telecom, military and transportation systems and the responsibility we carry to minimize environmental impact, advance circularity, and support our people and communities.
Our sustainability priorities focus on integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into every aspect of our business. This includes embedding sustainability into our product portfolio, reducing emissions across our operations, advancing waste-reduction initiatives, and strengthening workforce well-being and development.
We are a global team united by a clear mission: to engineer thermal solutions that safeguard critical technologies while contributing to a low-carbon, resource-efficient future. Sustainability is fully integrated into our operational and strategic priorities, including product development, governance systems, and long-term growth planning.
Charitable Activities
The Bregal Helps Initiative is a charitable fund established by the partners of Bregal Investments together with the COFRA Foundation.
Since launching, the Initiative has had the privilege of providing grants to charitable organizations through Bregal portfolio companies to support communities on various themes focusing on Education, Skills and Career Mobility, Diversity and Inclusion and Community Development.

Refurbishing for Communities
Kramden Institute’s mission is to provide technology tools and training to bridge the digital divide. Providing digital literacy and computer devices to low-income families and adults in North Carolina.
Our Durham team teamed up to refurbish computers for students and adults who may not have access to technology in North Carolina.
Supporting Gothenburg Mission
Gothenburg City Mission is a non-profit organization that helps people who live in homelessness, poverty and social vulnerability. They help in emergency situations and work for everybody’s right to a dignified life.
Our Gothenburg team joined to collect holiday presents and gifts for families in need.

The EFC Natural Refrigerant Chiller Series offers reliable thermal management solution that is compliant with foreseeable future regulations with regards to refrigerant use. The EFC line offers the same ease of use, low maintenance features that makes it ideal for cooling sensitive electronics in industrial and analytical equipment. By using natural R290 refrigerant, the EFC Chillers achieve similar performance with a near-zero Global Warming Potential (GWP) when compared to traditional hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants.
Refrigerant-free thermoelectric coolers and thermoelectric cooler assemblies deliver an eco-friendlier solution that accommodates long-term life cycles for electronics and various lab and tech instruments.
The NRC400 benchtop recirculating chiller is a unique product with 0 GWP as it is a thermoelectric chiller that doesn’t use any refrigerants. It combines advanced thermoelectric cooling technology with high-performance heat exchangers to deliver 400 watts of cooling power while achieving temperature stability of ±0.05°C.
